The Prestige 700 6-burner gas cooker is the largest and most powerful unit in the MFF gas cooker catalogue. With 6 burners of 6.5kW each (39kW total), 1,200mm of width and a 45kg build, it is the reference appliance for high-volume professional kitchens that need a large multi-burner gas cooking line. At €3,595 excl. VAT, it is the grand gas piano of the Prestige 700 range — 6 powerful stations for a multi-cook brigade or a very high-volume service.

39kW on 6 Burners: the Grand-Piano Configuration

  • 6 independent stations — 6 valves, 6 simultaneous temperatures; typical layout: 2 for searing (front), 2 for sauces and simmers (middle), 2 for auxiliaries (bain-marie, boiling water, holding)
  • 1,200mm width — a 120cm cooking line lets 2–3 cooks work side by side comfortably, the standard hot-station configuration of a high-volume kitchen
  • 6.5kW per burner — high power throughout: fast searing, efficient reductions, ultra-fast heat-up
  • 39kW total — double the 4-burner 21.5kW, enough to hold 6 intense cooks at once without gas pressure being a limiting factor

45kg: Professional-Piano Solidity

The 45kg weight reflects pro-piano-level construction: thicker stainless steel that resists thermal deformation under 39kW of daily intense heat, robust grids that carry 50L+ pots and 50cm woks, and stability during service that keeps the cooker firmly in place. In gastronomy or high-volume catering, this build is designed for 10–15 years of daily intensive service.

Who Is the Prestige 700 6-Burner 39kW For?

  • Gastronomic restaurant or large brasserie, 120–200 covers — 6 stations cover a 3–5 cook brigade in full service
  • Hotel-restaurant with continuous service — breakfast, lunch and dinner with different menus, prepared simultaneously without station conflicts
  • Central kitchen or institutional catering, 200+ covers — the volume-production cooking line for these contexts
  • High-end event caterer — one 6-burner 39kW covers all hot cooking for receptions of 100–300 people

Why Professionals Choose Gas

A gas burner gives the cook something an electric plate cannot: instant, visible control. Turn the valve and the flame responds immediately — full power for a sear, a precise simmer for a delicate sauce, with no thermal lag. Gas works with every type of cookware (cast iron, stainless, aluminium, carbon-steel woks), where induction demands a ferromagnetic base, and the open flame is what makes true wok cooking possible. For a kitchen that already runs on gas, adding a table-top gas cooker is the fastest way to add a cooking station — no three-phase wiring, no complex installation.

Table-Top Installation and Safety Clearances

This is a table-top (countertop) appliance, not built-in. It sits on a worktop or heat-resistant surface, with safety clearance at the sides and above — keep the flame clear of any combustible surface, with the spacing given in the installation guide. It is not designed to be enclosed or stacked under another appliance. Specify your fuel at order so the injectors match your supply.

Ventilation Requirement

Any gas cooking appliance in a professional kitchen requires extraction ventilation. The higher the power, the higher the extraction rate needed — our team can advise on the hood specification for your model before installation. Running a gas cooker without adequate extraction is both a comfort problem (heat, steam, odours) and a regulatory one.

Stainless Steel, Cleaning and HACCP

The cooker is built in food-grade stainless steel. Daily cleaning: remove the grids, soak them in hot water with a food-safe degreaser, brush, rinse and dry; wipe the body while the grids soak. Monthly, clear the burner ports with a fine brush so the flame stays even and ignition reliable. Smooth stainless surfaces wipe clean and slot straight into your HACCP cleaning plan.
