⚠ Three-phase 400V required: this Série 650 electric cooker needs a three-phase 400V supply. Check your installation before ordering.

The Série 650 2-plate electric cooker is the 2-station model of the Série 650 range — 5.2kW across 2 round plates, a 400×650×300mm footprint and a 15kg build. At €1,280 excl. VAT, it fits a coherent Série 650 kitchen line (cooker, range, pasta cooker) on a uniform 650mm profile, and is notable as the lightest range electric cooker in the catalogue.

15kg: the Lightest Range Electric in the Catalogue

At 15kg, the Série 650 2-plate is markedly lighter than the other range electrics (25kg), which makes it easier to position, move for cleaning, or transport between sites. It also carries an anti-overheat safety cut-out that protects the plates from damage if a plate is left on empty — a functional safety advantage of the Série 650 range.

Who Is the Série 650 2-Plate Electric For?

  • Restaurant building a coherent Série 650 line — same 650mm profile as the Série 650 range or pasta cooker
  • Kitchen wanting a light, easy-to-handle range electric — 15kg vs 25kg
  • Two-point electric cooking with safety cut-out — reheating, holding, boiling with anti-overheat protection

Solid Electric Plates: Steady, Controllable Heat

A solid electric plate stores and radiates even heat across its whole surface. That makes it ideal for boiling, simmering, holding and any cooking done in flat-bottomed cookware — the heat is stable and there is no open flame. An electric plate responds more slowly than a gas burner (it takes time to heat and to cool), which is the trade-off for steady, flame-free heat: set the level and it holds it. For a kitchen without a gas supply, or where an open flame is unwanted, electric is the right choice.

Power Supply: Check Before Ordering

Electrical supply is the key point to verify. Single-phase (230V) models plug into a standard socket with no special installation. Three-phase (400V) models deliver more power but require a dedicated 400V supply — check your panel before ordering, or choose a single-phase model. The exact requirement is given in the specifications below; our team can advise if you are unsure.

Table-Top Installation

This is a table-top (countertop) appliance. It sits on a worktop or heat-resistant surface and is not designed to be built in or stacked under another appliance. It needs no gas connection and no combustion ventilation, though the heat it radiates still calls for a normally ventilated kitchen.

Stainless Steel, Cleaning and HACCP

The cooker is built in food-grade stainless steel. Let the plates cool, then wipe them and the body with a damp cloth and a food-safe product; avoid flooding the plates with water. Smooth stainless surfaces wipe clean and slot straight into your HACCP cleaning plan.
