⚠ Three-phase 400V required: this Snack 600 2-plate electric cooker needs a three-phase 400V supply. Check that your kitchen has a three-phase socket or panel before ordering — without three-phase, choose the single-phase model (id1084, €490).

The Snack 600 2-plate three-phase electric cooker is the higher-power version of the Snack 600 2-plate electric. With 4kW across 2 round plates on a three-phase 400V supply, it delivers more output than the single-phase model (3kW) — for kitchens already wired for three-phase. At €540 excl. VAT, it brings the robust 25kg Snack 600 build with the extra power that three-phase allows.

Why the Three-Phase Version?

  • 4kW vs 3kW — three-phase delivers a third more power for faster boiling and better heat under load
  • Robust 25kg Snack 600 build — the same sturdy body as the rest of the range, for daily service
  • 300mm wide, 600mm profile — compact, lines up with the Snack 600 line
  • Requires a 400V supply — the trade-off for the extra power; verify your installation first

Who Is the Snack 600 2-Plate Three-Phase For?

  • Kitchen already wired for three-phase — get the extra 4kW output without a single-phase compromise
  • Snack with a Snack 600 line and 400V supply — aligns with the rest of the range
  • Steady two-point electric cooking — reheating, holding, boiling at higher output

Solid Electric Plates: Steady, Controllable Heat

A solid electric plate stores and radiates even heat across its whole surface. That makes it ideal for boiling, simmering, holding and any cooking done in flat-bottomed cookware — the heat is stable and there is no open flame. An electric plate responds more slowly than a gas burner (it takes time to heat and to cool), which is the trade-off for steady, flame-free heat: set the level and it holds it. For a kitchen without a gas supply, or where an open flame is unwanted, electric is the right choice.

Power Supply: Check Before Ordering

Electrical supply is the key point to verify. Single-phase (230V) models plug into a standard socket with no special installation. Three-phase (400V) models deliver more power but require a dedicated 400V supply — check your panel before ordering, or choose a single-phase model. The exact requirement is given in the specifications below; our team can advise if you are unsure.

Table-Top Installation

This is a table-top (countertop) appliance. It sits on a worktop or heat-resistant surface and is not designed to be built in or stacked under another appliance. It needs no gas connection and no combustion ventilation, though the heat it radiates still calls for a normally ventilated kitchen.

Stainless Steel, Cleaning and HACCP

The cooker is built in food-grade stainless steel. Let the plates cool, then wipe them and the body with a damp cloth and a food-safe product; avoid flooding the plates with water. Smooth stainless surfaces wipe clean and slot straight into your HACCP cleaning plan.
