The Snack 600 2-plate single-phase electric cooker is a unique unit in the catalogue: it is the only Snack 600 electric cooker that runs on single-phase 230V. At €490 excl. VAT and 3kW across 2 round plates, it combines the robust build of the professional Snack 600 range with the convenience of a standard-socket connection — no three-phase installation.

Pro Build Without Three-Phase: the Snack 600 2-Plate Single-Phase Value

  • Standard 230V connection — the Snack 600 build quality without the €500–2,000 of a three-phase installation
  • 3kW across 2 plates — two cooking points for reheating, holding sauces, cooking eggs and light preparations
  • 25kg robust construction — the same sturdy Snack 600 body as the three-phase models, for daily service
  • 330mm wide, 600mm profile — lines up with the rest of a Snack 600 line

The three-phase Snack 600 2-plate (id1085, €540) offers more power (4kW) but requires a 400V supply. If you have no three-phase, this single-phase model is the Snack 600 electric for you.

Who Is the Snack 600 2-Plate Single-Phase For?

  • Snack wanting Snack 600 quality without three-phase — the robust range build on a standard socket
  • Bar or café with two electric points — reheating and holding without an electrical installation
  • Kitchen building a Snack 600 line with single-phase only — aligns with other Snack 600 equipment

Solid Electric Plates: Steady, Controllable Heat

A solid electric plate stores and radiates even heat across its whole surface. That makes it ideal for boiling, simmering, holding and any cooking done in flat-bottomed cookware — the heat is stable and there is no open flame. An electric plate responds more slowly than a gas burner (it takes time to heat and to cool), which is the trade-off for steady, flame-free heat: set the level and it holds it. For a kitchen without a gas supply, or where an open flame is unwanted, electric is the right choice.

Power Supply: Check Before Ordering

Electrical supply is the key point to verify. Single-phase (230V) models plug into a standard socket with no special installation. Three-phase (400V) models deliver more power but require a dedicated 400V supply — check your panel before ordering, or choose a single-phase model. The exact requirement is given in the specifications below; our team can advise if you are unsure.

Table-Top Installation

This is a table-top (countertop) appliance. It sits on a worktop or heat-resistant surface and is not designed to be built in or stacked under another appliance. It needs no gas connection and no combustion ventilation, though the heat it radiates still calls for a normally ventilated kitchen.

Stainless Steel, Cleaning and HACCP

The cooker is built in food-grade stainless steel. Let the plates cool, then wipe them and the body with a damp cloth and a food-safe product; avoid flooding the plates with water. Smooth stainless surfaces wipe clean and slot straight into your HACCP cleaning plan.
