Within the Diamante 70 modular cooking line, this induction wok post brings professional power — 5 kW on three-phase 400V — where a gas flame is not feasible. A kitchen in a residential zone, a shopping mall, a hotel or catering under fire constraints: the D72/10TCIW meets projects where installing a gas burner is blocked by regulations, the building owner, or the cost of gas plumbing works.
For which establishment, for which project?
- Asian restaurant with no gas network access: residential zones or shopping arcades where kitchen gas is forbidden or too costly to install. The 5 kW power on TRI 400V offers fast heat-ups, suited to stir-fry and fast-searing cooking.
- Hotel and catering: standardisation on induction for reinforced fire safety, easier cleaning (no flame or cast-iron grille) and simplified maintenance. The Diamante 70 format aligns with the range's other elements.
- Mixed gas + induction kitchen: complement an existing gas line with an induction wok post for low-temperature preparations (sauces, sides) or for a second cook with no extra gas burner.
- Dark kitchen or ghost kitchen: no flame = lighter extraction, simplified fire compliance, reduced risk in versatile or shared premises.
⚠️ Three-phase 400V required. This post does not run on single-phase 230V. Before ordering, check with your electrician that your board has a three-phase breaker of sufficient capacity and a four-pole socket near the cooking post.

What restaurateurs ask
- Why does this Diamante 70 induction wok cost more than the gas models?
- Professional induction electronics on three-phase 400V are more complex to produce than a gas burner. In return: a cold cooking surface (zero burns around the bowl), immediate cleaning without waiting for cast iron to cool, no flame to maintain or pilot to watch. For a hotel or catering, these operational advantages cut maintenance costs over time.
- Can this Diamante 70 block work independently, without a full cooking line?
- Yes. Designed to fit into a modular line, it can also work alone on stainless legs or built into a specific worktop. The three-phase supply remains required in all cases. Contact us for an installation study suited to your configuration.
- What hood is needed with a 5 kW induction wok post?
- A standard professional hood of capacity suited to your kitchen volume is enough. With no gas combustion, smoke and grease volumes are significantly lower than with a 14 to 28 kW gas burner. Your hood installer must size it to the type of cooking done (hot-oil stir-frying generates vapours even without a flame).
- Can this induction post reproduce the "wok hei" flavour of traditional Chinese cooking?
- Wok hei — that characteristic smoky flavour the flame deposits directly on the food — is hard to reproduce on induction, whatever the power. Induction heats through the wok base, with no side flame. For traditional Asian cooking centred on this flavour aspect, the Diamante 70 gas burners (D73 or D75) remain the reference. For mixed use or under a gas-free installation constraint, the 5 kW induction remains a serious post.
