The Prestige 700 SPT70/8021G is the all-gas version of the professional 80 cm range: a 4-burner gas cooktop and a gas GN 2/1 oven, totalling 33 kW — a single energy (gas) for the whole unit. It is the choice for kitchens that run on gas and want the responsiveness of the flame on both the cooktop and in the oven, with a large GN 2/1 oven for big pieces and high oven volume. With no high electrical demand, it suits premises where electrical capacity is limited or where gas is the preferred energy.

Why an all-gas range with a gas oven?

Running the whole range on gas has concrete advantages. A single energy simplifies the installation — no high-power electrical circuit for the oven, only the gas connection. The gas oven gives the flame's responsiveness and a cooking character some chefs prefer for roasting. And for kitchens whose electrical installation cannot supply a powerful electric oven, all-gas is the practical solution. At 33 kW total (more than the mixed 27 kW version), the SPT70/8021G delivers strong cooking power across cooktop and oven.

The gas GN 2/1 oven holds 2 GN 1/1 pans at once (about 2.5× a GN 1/1 oven), ideal for large pieces — legs, whole poultry — and high-volume roasting. At 80 cm wide, the range pairs with the rest of the Prestige 700 line.

Which establishments is the SPT70/8021G for

Gas-equipped brasseries and restaurants: a single-energy range where gas is already the main supply, with strong cooktop and oven power.

Caterers and roasting-heavy kitchens: the gas GN 2/1 oven roasts large pieces in quantity, the gas cooktop handles base preparations — all on gas.

Premises with limited electrical capacity: all-gas avoids the high-power electrical circuit a large electric oven would need.

Chefs who prefer gas-oven character: for roasting, some chefs prefer the gas oven's heat and responsiveness over electric.

Frequently asked questions

All-gas or mixed (electric oven): which to choose?
Choose all-gas (SPT70/8021G) if you run on gas, want a single energy and a simpler electrical installation, or prefer the gas oven for roasting. Choose mixed (SPT70/8021GE, electric oven) if you have both supplies and want the even thermostatic heat and simplicity of an electric oven. Both have the same large GN 2/1 oven and 80 cm format.
Does an all-gas range need an electrical connection at all?
An all-gas range mainly needs the gas connection. Some models use a small electrical supply for ignition or controls, but not the high-power circuit an electric oven would require. The main requirements are the professional gas connection and an extraction hood. Confirm the exact needs with the fitter.
Is the gas oven as even as an electric oven?
A gas oven heats by burner and natural convection; an electric oven heats by elements. Both are static ovens (no forced fan). The electric oven tends to give slightly more even thermostatic heat, while the gas oven offers the flame's responsiveness and a character some chefs prefer for roasting. For precise even cooking with a fan or steam, a dedicated convection or combi oven is the right tool.
