Serving queues, where every interruption costs you sales? This vertical 7-litre machine is the high-volume format. Its 46 cm cylinder holds more than double the 3-litre version: at an event, that means one reload break instead of three or four.

Reloading is the only real bottleneck at events

At a funfair, a festival or a Christmas market, the constraint is never the frying: it is the time the machine is unavailable. Reloading takes a minute, but a minute in front of fifteen waiting people, repeated four times in an evening, means customers who go elsewhere.

With 7 litres of dough in reserve you keep batches coming for far longer. The arithmetic is simple: at equal sales volume you halve the number of stops compared with the 3 litre, and you place them when the queue empties rather than when it grows.

  • Funfairs and theme parks: sustained output over several hours, with no socket to negotiate with the site operator.
  • Festivals and Christmas markets: hot churros are a draw product in cold weather — the machine has to keep up with the peaks as a concert or show lets out.
  • Caterers and banquets: a 200-person buffet is covered without reloading mid-service.
  • High-footfall snack bars: tourist areas, seafronts, cinema exits.

83 cm tall: check before you buy

This is the only point to check on this format. At 83 cm tall, the machine on a standard 90 cm worktop puts its funnel about 1.70 m off the floor. Filling therefore happens above head height for a shorter person.

Two simple solutions: put the machine on a lower surface dedicated to filling, or fill the cylinder before putting it in place. On an outdoor stand, where tables are often 75 cm, the question does not arise.

Otherwise the format changes nothing in use: the same 34 × 30 cm footprint as the 3 and 5-litre models, the same two-speed mechanics, the same moulds and the same nozzles. Only the cylinder is longer.

What professionals ask

Why a manual machine rather than an electric one?
Because it works anywhere. At a market, a car boot sale, a village fair or an outdoor stand there is not always a socket available — and when there is one, the fryer has usually taken it. A manual machine has no power constraint, no motor to fail, and the operator controls the pressure by hand: they decide the thickness and length of the churro, not an automatic cycle.
What are the two speeds for?
The lever engages two gear ratios. The fast setting drives the piston down quickly for large nozzles and soft dough. The slow setting multiplies leverage: it takes less effort on small nozzles and on firm dough, the kind that holds its shape best in the fryer.
What is the difference between the 4 moulds and the 4 nozzles?
The 4 moulds give the churro its shape — star flutes in several sizes, plus a three-spoke shape. The 4 nozzles, from Ø 1.6 to 3.8 cm, set the diameter of the dough rope. Combining the two lets you produce both the thin Spanish churro and the thick, generous version.
How is it cleaned?
The reservoir tilts backwards, opening access to the cylinder. Piston, cylinder and moulds come apart without tools and wash in hot soapy water. Everything is stainless steel or food-grade plastic: nothing rusts and nothing holds the smell of the dough.
Can it be used for anything other than churros?
Yes. The same body works as a filler: with the plain nozzles it fills casings for fresh sausage, or lays down ropes of doughnut batter. Caterers who alternate sweet and savoury with the seasons use it that way routinely.

Delivery

Professional delivery across mainland France and Europe. The machine arrives assembled, with its 4 moulds and 4 nozzles: no assembly, no connection. Put it on a stable surface and the four rubber feet do the rest. Our sales team is available for a quotation or to help you choose the capacity that matches your volume.
